I was invited to attend the workshop for girls and young women who do not have any professional skills allowing them to attain some kind of economic independence. They learn there how to make and repair cloth, how to use computers, how to make art and useful things from materials that were given away for recycling. One element of training is teaching them how to cope with stress, and release tension related to the hardships of life. One of the sessions, so called laugh therapy, was facilitated by Ms. Shella Nellu Harratt, Laughter Yoga Teacher and Energy Therapist, originally from England, recently living in Bangalore. As I do not think any photo would properly represent what was happening during these sessions, here are few short video clips.
